How to Setup Google AdWords Account


Search Engine Marketing divided into two types

 1. Google Adwords (Global Ads)

 2. Google AdWords Express (Local Ads)


How to sign in Google Adwords?


 1. Type google.com/AdWords in the search bar

 2. Click for Sign-in option

 3. Sign in by Gmail id and password - click Next

 4. Campaign types:

                      (i) Video Marketing Ads,
                      (ii) Search Network,
                      (iii) Display Network Ads,
                      (iv) Shopping and
                       (v) Universal app campaign

 5. Click Campaign - Click + symbol - Click New campaign

 6. After Login Google Adwords check your payment options

  •  Click setting option Billing - Billing settings - Select Billing and payments (accept     3 modes of payment 1. net banking 2. credit card 3. debit card) - Select Manual         payments in how you pay - Select Account type as an individual - Default budget from 500 to up to 1 lakh        
  • Payment Method is 2 types 1. Paytm wallet and Add a credit or debit card (If you    select Paytm then type your linked  Paytm number and OTP)
  • While you make payments - Click billing summary - click make payment (select net   banking or google pay or many options are there)


 7. If you check Keyword position - Go to planning - Keyword planner

 8. If you connect Google Adword with Webmaster and Analytic - Go to Setup - Link  Accounts

 9. Adword account with multiple mail id - Setup - Account Access (If the person already signed in Adword account, we can't give access like admin, standard, email and read-only)

Basic Action for new Google Adword account:

 1. Keyword Planner

 2. Billing and Payments

 3. Account Access

 4. Link Accounts

Remaining options are used based on your Google Ads like Bulk Action, Measurement, and Shared Library.


In overview option of Google Ads dashboard

 1. How many clicks of your Ads

 2. How many impression

 3. Avg CPC (Avg CPC is based on CTR) CTR= clicks/impression x 100

 4. Cost

 5, If you click three dots - you check hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.

In Location option of Google Ads dashboard

 1. We can select targeted locations like Coimbatore, Chennai. Tirupur and Madurai etc.,

In Change history option of Google Ads dashboard

 1. we can see what are all changes are done in the campaign.
